Are you lucky enough to have the day off and are looking for something to do? Well, we have a couple of runs that may be of interest.
6am Meet at Coolangatta foreshore carpark (opposite McDonalds) for a run. It will be varying lengths depending who wants to do what. Initially, run from Coolangatta to Billinga and return (approx. 8 kms) and can then carry on through Rainbow Bay, Duranbah and along the Tweed River as far as you want to go…… Brekkie afterwards.
2pm Meet at the below Google point (Tullabudgera Connection Road) if you are interested in running through public accessed parts of the Anaconda run course. This should be a bit of fun….. or could be a bit scary for those entered in this event which is only 2 weeks away.

Well, fathers are not turkeys, but we are holding a turkey trot in their honour.
How well can you pace yourself? The turkey trot involves no watches but competitors have to run a certain distance within an allocated time. The closest to the time is the winner of the turkey trot.
Sound too complicated?

There are some great prizes to be handed out at the end of the run. Registration numbers will be sent out in September. See their website for details.
